Planning Commission
The Planning Commission consists of seven members appointed by the City Council Personnel Committee and confirmed by the City Council, with each term a four-year commitment. The commission's primary function is to advise the City Council on land use matters such as specified and general plans, zoning, and sub-divisions. The commission reviews other matters as specified by city ordinances or Title 35A.63 of the Revised Code of Washington.
Planning Commission currently meets at 6:00pm on the 4th Tuesday of every month unless otherwise stated. The Planning Commission has moved to hybrid meetings, offering both in-person and online meeting participation.
