Planning Commission
The Planning Commission consists of seven members appointed by the City Council Personnel Committee and confirmed by the City Council, with each term a four-year commitment. The commission's primary function is to advise the City Council on land use matters such as specified and general plans, zoning, and sub-divisions. The commission reviews other matters as specified by city ordinances or Title 35A.63 of the Revised Code of Washington.
Planning Commission currently meets on the 4th Tuesday of every month unless otherwise stated at 6:00 pm. The Planning Commission has moved to hybrid meetings, offering both in-person and online meeting participation.
