Apply For a Permit

The permit process differs for each permit type, and may also vary depending on how complex your project is.
These steps are a general guideline to follow to apply for a permit. You will submit most permit applications electronically
through the Permitting Portal.

If you already have a portal account set up, please click “Log In” in the top right corner of the page. If you do not have a
portal account set up please follow the instructions below:
 

Step 1:   Click “Set Up” in the top right corner of the page

Step 2:   Enter your email address and password of your choice
                 *Please note, you do not need an access code to create an account*

Step 3:   Enter in your contact information *Please keep the “Display Name” as is*

Step 4:   Click the check box next to “I agree to the Terms and Conditions” and click “Create My Account”

Step 5:   You will now be sent a verification email. Please check you spam folder if you do not
                  receive, however, this can take up to 24 hours to get to your inbox. Once received, click “Verify”, you now have access to the portal.
