84th AVENUE NE DETOUR

Watson Asphalt Paving Co will be closing the northbound lane of 84^th Ave NE between NE 12^th and NE 24^th Street on Monday April 2^nd for construction work on the roadway. Southbound traffic lanes will remain open, but motorists should expect delays. Northbound Buses will be routed to Evergreen Point Road via NE 12^th , proceed to NE 24^th and east on NE 24^th to 84^th Ave NE to resume their normal route.

The northbound detour will be in effect week days from 7 AM to 4 PM, but will be open to traffic outside of those hours. The detour of traffic will reduce the project construction to approximately half of the time and be completed by May 14^th (subject to weather conditions).

2012 SHORELINE MASTER PROGRAM UPDATE

MEDINA COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT PUBLIC HEARING:  MEDINA PARK PLAN
The Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on May 22, 2012, at 6:00 pm in the City Council Chambers, Medina City Hall.  The purpose of the hearing is to receive public testimony regarding an amendment to the Medina Comprehensive Plan to update Chapter 6, Parks and Open Space Element, by creating a park plan.  Click here for more information on the hearing notice.  A draft of the comprehensive plan amendment can be found by clicking here.
